HAPPY LONG WEEKEND!
Hard to believe we are halfway through May already but time flies when you are having fun, right ?
It's been a wonderful first month being OPEN, seeing all our regulars and meeting so many new people.

Planting season is off to a GREAT start, unfortunately this unpredictable weather is a bummer but no point in complaining.
May Long Weekend is known as the 'Planting Weekend,' so here's to hoping the weather will smarten up.
Besides flowers, food is another thing long weekends are all about, we are very EXCITED that the first of Fresh Ontario Asparagus is now available in store.
We thought we'd share one of our favorite recipes for some of that, YUMMY ASPARAGUS
You'll need to come by and pick a fresh bunch of Ontario Asparagus.
Take it home, give it a rinse and don't forget to cut off those tough ends.
Preheat the oven to 425°
Lay out your Asparagus on a baking sheet.
Based on your liking in a small bowl mix together olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Drizzle over Asparagus and toss to evenly coat.
Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with your favorite type of cheese, a sharp mozzarella is PERFECTION.
Broil in the oven till cheese has melted and has a touch of golden.
Let cool and ENJOY
